The Charites were Aglaia, the goddess of brightness, Euphrosyne, the goddess of joyfulness, and Thalia, the goddess of bloom. As the goddesses of charm, grace, and beauty, the Charites have always held a special place in my heart, as I have often imagined myself and my two sisters as the embodiments of their attributes.
