Because we know that every single detail can make a difference in our climate action.
HOW WE ARE ALIGNING WITH THE SDGs?
By following UN SDGs we aim to do our share for this planet, economy, and community. We are in the midst of a global climate emergency that necessitates both individual and collective action. It is our responsibility to bring meaningful change in our daily lives, which is why we start from our foundations to take the necessary actions, build decent supplier relationships, ethical working conditions, and supply responsibly sourced materials. We corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour and the environment.
Hence to fulfil our responsibility to our planet, our 10% of profit directly goes into our Sustainability Pledge Fund, to give back to our local and global communities, as well as to various charities and organisations. At the end of the year we will share our donations to establish transparency in this process.
ETHICAL and RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURING
We align our foundations in line with the UN SDGs Goal 8 and Goal 10.
Goal 8, promotes sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. With whom we adhere deep and meaningful relationships. Referring specifically to Goal 10, The Charites London aims to reduce inequality within and among the industry by funding small businesses, forgotten crafts, women-owned small businesses, and handcrafts specifically to always support and nurture the economy.
The Charites London jewellery designs are hand sculpted in Istanbul, Turkey to the highest standards and it is a guarantee we can make because our suppliers are family. We work closely with each supplier in our supply chain to ensure they share our values and practise responsible business, social welfare, and environmental practices. Likewise, our bags are expertly hand sculpted in Istanbul, Turkey by skilled artisans using delicate stonework in a mosaic design on the frame that is made of metal. Our artists have been recognised for adhering to global social and environmental responsibility standards.

Our precious metals are certified and ethically obtained to result in the highest quality possible.
Likewise, all gemstones used in our jewellery were obtained from legitimate sources, and are not involved in funding conflict. We are passionate about driving innovation in the gemstone supply chain transparency, which is still in its early stages of development around the world. That is why we are constantly working with our suppliers to enhance their processes and transparency.
